Frequently Asked Questions

IRULE is a privately-held 85% NZ family-owned SME with the firm's technology and sports advisory team comprising the remaining 15%.

iRULE's Design-Technology-Administration-Advisory team are based in Fairlie in New Zealand's South Island part-way between Christchurch and Mt Cook/Aoraki.

Who makes our gear?

We do – 100% here in the Southern Alps; not offshore. Outsourcing to us abrogates responsibility for quality and care. IRULE is completely dedicated to designing, making, delivering and supporting our own products.

When was iRULE started?

October, 2002.

What does iRULE value?

Innovation

We pride ourselves on original designs, functions and fabrics. We also place a great deal of emphasis on producing state-of-the-art e-business access for our customers.

Participation

On-line off-line, racing and training, we are very much a brand by the customer - for the customer. We make every effort to encourage positive feedback and improvements to our products, service and systems; we are hear to listen and learn.

Knowledge

It has never been enough for us to just send out a shirt or pair of shorts; with our training and interests we continually strive to enhance the off road endurance experiences of our customers by providing accessible, informative articles.

Quality

We long ago worked out we are not in this to be the biggest and loudest. Instead, we get excited about constant improvement and excellence; doing our best to get you the best products for your training and racing and ensuring you get to talk to real people who give a damn.

Why do I need an Account?

By joining and creating an Account you can enjoy the full online facilities of the brand. In particular the opportunity to shop, accumulate Racer Points for discounts and the option to link in with the iRULE customer Community; have your say!

What's the go with this SKYPE thing?

We use it to manage our own communications inside and outside the business. If you go to www.skype.com and download and install the software and grab a PC headset you can talk to us for FREE from anywhere in the world; if we are not about, you can leave a voice mail at our SKYPE account.

As well, you can simply chat with us using text over the web if you have a question.

What's the idea with Just Try Me (JTM)?

Up to now buying clothes off the Net has been a little bit problematic if you have never worn the brand before.

Using JTM, we ask you to pay a deposit (50%) and agree to the Terms & Conditions (basically you can try the garment on in the privacy of your own home but not train and race about in it; there is a limit to how many garments you can borrow and a limit to how long the items can be held for trial and if you stain or mark them you keep them and we charge the full amount) that are all based on common sense and fairness.

The Technology we wrote is provided to manage the process for you from Borrowing and shipping to reminders, returns and self-service purchasing.

We know our products are top-shelf but you can judge that for yourself.

What's the benefit of Racer Points?

In a nutshell it's a loyalty program used to reward those of you who buy from us repeatedly. It's a system that will tell you how many Points you get, explain how to cash them in as discounts and remind you when you log in to your account how many you have to use.

Again, it's an example of iRULE innovation as it is designed and built by us to help you and recognize and thank you for your support in a way that you can manage for yourself.
